Middle Dutch term for “building”, derived from the Latin aedificium, refers to a structure or edifice, often of architectural or monumental significance.

Edificie is the name of an interuniversity network of architectural historians in Belgium, a collaborative group of scholars dedicated to the study of the built environment in the late medieval and early modern period.
